not as good as the last one, definately. Still some usable sounds but it's maybe a big too big.

This month aint called "battle of the best for nothing." It's time to separate the men from the boys.

There's rich pickings to be found in this month's kit but you have to work for them. you can't simply loop up the first two bars of one sample, beat match them with the first two bars of the next sample and then expect to win this one. For instance, the two reggae samples contain many useful drum/percussion oneshots as well as some nifty muted guitar and guitar chords -- similarly, there's a handful of great snares to be found in other samples but you have to know how to EQ and filter them because they're not immediately obvious. There's more to sample preparation than slicing and I deliberately chose samples which couldn't just be looped as is.

As the old saying goes, a bad workman always blames his tools.

Now let's please have a little less conversation and a lot more action eh?

just to let you know;

EVERYONE REALLY APPRECIATES THE EFFORT YOU PUT INTO CREATING THE KITS MAN.

I think what truth and I are getting at is that there is much more materiel this time around and a lot of it is not to his/my/our taste.

I'd be down for providing some content for a kit but as I don't sample I could only provide real recording of various instruments and I'm not sure how that would go down. I DO have a couple of good vintage synths though.

In terms of action, I've already posted 2 entries. . . . .
