I struggle with arrangement whenever I try to put sequences together.
Is there a specific formula to arranging a track?
I mean do the emcees just spit with the bars that are given? Or is it expected to have a certain amount of bars for your main sequence, change ups and hooks?

typically emcees have either 8 or 16 bar verses a 2 bar hook that repeats 2wice making 4 bars and change ups and breaks come into play to keep things from becoming too repetitive

Normally i hand out beatz having a 16 bar vers and a 8 bar hookline. The intro lasts for 4 or 8 bars, the outro has 4 bars. This is my typical arrangement. Breakz and different sequences r varying from somg to song. But sometimes when we r recording a quick one, a simple two bar loop with some drum breakz is the sh..t.
