Ok so does any one in here make jungle drum and bass other than just hip hop? if yes can any of you help i want to know how to program an amen beat they are super duper phat!

Just saw this post and i'm bored at work. There is so many ways to flip Amen it's insane. The best thing to do is start by chopping each drum into it's own one shot. listen and learn the suttle differences between the different snare and kick sounds (this is the key to really freaking it). After that your on your own....programming is an art and a science best learned by ear, and experimentation. I hope that you have a visual sequencer as using a grid to program is alot easier but it can be done with out it. Have fun!!!

After chopping the break into one shots, sometimes I'll program at half the bpm, then double it for playback. I'll make the sequence at 90 bpm for 16 bars, then crank that bitch to 180!
Just experiment. If it sounds hot there are no rules!
