Looking for suggestions on quality studio headphones with an accurate frequency range. If somebody could drop a few model names for me to look into, that would be great.

I got a pair of Roland RH-200's that are great. I don't know how they measure up to other brands but they do the trick. I think they were about $100.

it really depends on what you are looking for in headphones.....are you looking for a pair so you can record vocals? or are you looking for a pair so you can make a beat without waking anybody up? if it's for vocals make sure they are not open headphones or the mic will always pic up the noise, i'll do some research and get back to you with my best picks but i need to know your price range?

Thanks for the reply fellas. I'll def check out them Roland joints Vern, good lookin. And to Desertease...My price would be in the 100-150 area...I'm really looking for GOOD headphones. And they are for production purposes, I don't own a mic. I would get a seperate, most likely much cheaper, set of headphones for recording vocals. I want to A) be able to have better sounds quality than these home entertainment shits I have right now. and B) be able to bang a beat at a high level at 2 in the morning on a tuesday.
thanks again for the help, y'all.

for production i would highly recommend the "audio-technica ath-m40fs headphones those things can handle a lot of bass before they get distorted and they are on sale at zzounds right now for 60.00 also any akg headphones in the 130-200 range are superb for sound quality those things are absolutely amazing and the akg's are known for attenuating outside noise so there you go hope that helps some.
