I have an mpc 2000xl i want to be able to hear sounds from my mpc from my pc. What do i need to do in order to do this? I have an audiophile sound card and some midi cables. I do not have a mixer at this time. I also have cubase if that helps.

i think the usb is to send stuff to the mpc, not to use it as midi not sure though, i've had my 2500 for a week, and ive transfered a few samples through usb
i have a regular midi cable connected to my interface, and i trigger battery 3 with the mpc
