What scsi cable do i need to run my zip disk to my mpc 2000xl? or external card reader?

scsi stands for small computers system interface and it WAS the usb port of it's day.As far as the zip,yes you can hook it up to your mp.(depending on the model,you may need to change the cable) remember to set your destination address either 5 or 6 (on the back of the zip drive) and if you have nothing else in the chain(other devices attached) turn the termination on.It may take a try of two to get it right but, play with it until you see the devive on you mpc screen.Peace

hi, i have a 2000 and i had this idea.... i wanted to know what you thought.... there is a cable called a [glow=red,2,300]'scsi to usb converter'[/glow] www.lindy.com/uk/productfolder/03/32/32895/index.phpdo you think it would be possible to hook up a external hard drive to your mpc via this cable?? i figure that the cable translates from one language to another.. i dunno what do you think?? rockers
