Ok...Please someone help me. I have a fantom x6 and a mpc4000. when I record a track in a sequence on my mpc4000 from my Piano when i change the piano sound say to saxophone from piano it change every track i have recorded in piano mode to saxophone. How do I make one sound say sax stay on track one and grand piano sound on track 2 and another sound on track 3 in the same sequence?
Also what is the best way to set the mpc4000 with the fantom x6?
How do I plug my mpc4000 to my G5 and get it lined up with my pro tools?
how can I put every track on my pro tools track by track? Its really hard for me to line it up so it stay on beat.

Follow my guideline below. Connecting a Keyboard to the MPC:
Keyboard Settings: MIDI OUT to MPC MIDI IN Local Control OFF Make sure its in Multi-Mode Route Audio Outs(headphone out if stereo out isnt available) to your Mixer
MPC Settings: MIDI OUT to Keyboard MIDI IN Turn DRUM to MIDI 1A or 1B(most likely 1A) Route Audio OUTS(stereo outs or headphone out) to your mixer
Cables Required:MIDI(2) and Audio Cables(depends on how many outs the gear has)
Example: Say you have a bass on the keyboard and it is on Channel 2(track 2 for some keyboards with onboard sequencers)
Then the MPC should be set to MIDI:2A
So basically whatever the sound in the keyboard is the number should be the same on the MPC.
Channel 1 or Track 1=MIDI 1A Channel 2 or Track 2=MIDI 2A
ect....
Real simple and easy.
