fresh for '07

haven't listened to much that's come out this year yet, but here's some new music i'm getting into

high priest's first solo lp, born identity.
been a fan of the antipop guys for a while now. not the best post-apc release, but still good


busdriver's roadkill overcoat.
some of this dude's stuff is kind of boring to me considering how crazy his vocal style can be. this one seems like one of the better ones.


really lookin forward to the new beans and dizzee rascal albums that're supposed to come out this year.

Redman's sounding good so far. A little shallow on the subject matter, but the flow and Red's usual wit is as crisp as ever. I've only heard a few actual album cuts but his new mixtape Live from the Bricks is pretty good.

just listened to el-p's new one. i'll sleep when you're dead or something.
honestly, after such a long break i was half expecting him to come back with some bullshit.
a few weak tracks, but overall it's sounding pretty damn good after a couple of listens.
