What if for the next beat battle or or one in the future, we had it be a remix contest? It would be the similar format with only being allowed to use the given samples, but also an acapella would be in the kit that would have to be used. The acapella would have to be mandatory and it would be to see who could make the best remix of the song with the provided samples. This is just a suggestion, I know some people may feel that tracks would be less creative if they were meant to lay vocals over them instead of being an instrumental [thescript] |

How about just posting one song, and people have to extract sounds from the song and make something completely new?

Well with one song I'm sure everything is going to start sounding the same,thats why I do my best to have a wide diversity of samples to flip each battle.. I'm going to hit up some of my peoples and see if I can get a exclusive accapella from someone for the next battle though. |

I think dcs idea aint too bad ya nu even with tha wide diversity of samples you
came with I listened to most of tha beats and a lot did sound tha same anyway
it would force people ta be more creative knowing if they take a easy flip they will
sound like someone else jus an opinion.

i think doing a 'remix' is a great idea for a future beat battle. i would like to see how it turns out. (just make sure its a dope acapella!!!)

I'm talking to Oc`s label and they said they will provide a unreleased OC star child accapella,also Dibbs has offered to put up $100 to the winner.. More to come soon. |
