truth, yo son you definatly freak fruityloops here's how i broke it down
3rd eye- definatly like you say very basic, but like all your beats it is definatly on point sonically..
chek1-i like this beat, but it keeps sounding like it is gonna drop into something and never does..there are some change up/variations of the same sample but the beat never really strays far from the four bars....don't get me wrong it's still heat i would just change it up more
choices-tight beat..definatly feelin this one and from this months beat battle too! i like it there is just one part where the flute dosen't fit what going on around it...i don;t know if it is outta key but still nice beat...you should layer some more drum sounds over this one..like deeper kik tones
evening cruise-nice bass super smoothflows really well...just a tight beat over all..these are the kinda beats i like smooth soul sample
gettin fresh-you can definatly hear the over compression on the crashes..but f**kin fire you shoudl fix this one for sure..f**king love that brass loop.
give it up-old school as f**k sounds like i could hear biz on this one...you should do a remix for this one it's that old school minimal sound..simple, but full sounding
mental lapse-i like this one, but again the drums sound lacking...i like the break down part...and vocal sample.. i hear what you are trying to go for but the drum sounds fishy....plus the violin part id tight and reversing the sample are also dope concepts
never said- i like this one...deep bass tones..and crisp highs...plus the vocal sample drop is tight....if i was gonna get someone to flow over it i would probablystretch out the drop to every 8 bars or something...i like one of the snares on there a lot...the one that sounds more like a rim shot tight sound..
no stops-in the very first bar i thought it was gonna be a reggae beat...definatly flipped tight...where is that sample from?? (not the gutair one)...enjoying what i hearing so far...
novels of blood-really weird..but i make beats like this one too...sounds way better when drums coem to full volume... definatly eerie....too much reverb on the drums though..do you use reason at all??? sounds like reason reverb very digital..
raw emotion-definatly what the title suggets..raw emotion...sounds like an rjd2 beat...f**king tight...what are you gonna do with this one?? i might have a project i could use this for...definatly my favorite so far...sick drums
reflections-simple not my favorite beat especially after the one above it...but still tight..just not into the bass sound
skull&bones-i like this concept...there is definatly a clear message...america is twisted and power needs to shift soon
solid rain-tight beat...definatly sounds like an older beat though...sounds like dre using reason for the first time.. i don't have much experience with fruity loops, but is that reverb part of fruity loops?? if so you should definatly stay away from it in the future...just not my style..overly reverbed drums...i used to do this a lot too...just listened to some older beats today and was definatly not feeling my overly reverbed drum either
street skriptures-flow is tight...moves well...just not feeling this drum kit for some reason i think the bass tone should be deeper
so truth, i don't have time to finish reviewing but i think you are a good producer, and like me you seem to be just starting out by that i mean you haven't made it and still probably think your production can come along way....everytime i make a beat i try to make it more bangin than the last...you definatly have style which is something that a lot of people lack these days..most of the beats i was really feelin...the criticism i gave is totally truthful and honest..but still just my opinion...i reviewed these like a fan and don't get anything i say twisted...stay up
peace
