Question on "mute groups" with MPC 500

Okay...

I peeped the vid on youtube about mute groups with the MPC 500.

Appears simple enough...

I rarely use this thing (500), but it's good to learn new stuff.

I followed the vid:

mode - program - scroll to mute groups - hit pad

The snag I hit is...there are no number options for me...only "off" and "on".

I turn the jog dial and that's all I get (off, on)...no numbers.

Do I need to upgrade memory to have the full function of mute groups or am I doing something wrong here?
