I don`t have a 1k to try the new os on,but this new os boasts most of the features the 2500 has (Grid edit and its rumered to have direct record)

The upgrage gives you Direct record on tracks 61-64
Just go to any of thos 3 tracks and highlight DRUM and hit WINDOW and you will see Turn on Dirrect Record..

For thos who dont know what dirct recoring is ,its only the best thing to EVER happen to the mpc. ( Here is a video of Direct record in action on the 25k)

I WAS TYPE SHOOK AT FIRST TO MESS WITH IT, BUT I WAS LIKE F@#K IT!!
THE GRID MODE IS ONE OF THE BEST FEATURES AND THE WAY YOU CAN LOAD UP PRGRAMS AND SET UP YOUR AUTOLOAD IS ENHANCED A LOT.. THE DIRECT RECORDING SCREEN HAS MORE FEATURES FOR THE MPC 1000, THEN THE 2500. MAN, I'M NOT EVEN AMPING SHIT UP BUT THE MPC 1000 IS LOOKING LIKE A CHIC THATS SKINNY BUT WHEN YOU TAKE HER CLOTHES OFF HER BODY IS BUTTER BABY!!!! SMALL BUT GO THAT MMMMHHHM!!!!

SO THERES NO TYPE OF BUGS IN THIS NEW OP SYS ? AND IF NOT WHEN IS AKAIPRO GOIN TO RELEASE IT? I WENT TO THE LINK AND DOWNLOADED IT BUT IM KINNA SKEPTICAL BEFORE I MAKE ANY CHANGES TO MY OP SYS? AND IF THERE ARE ANY CAN I GO BACK TO MY OLD OP SYS? AND DOESNT THIS MAKE BUYIN A 250O OBSOLETE? ......BUT THE INFO IS VERY USEFULL I HAD NO CLUE ABOUT THIS 3.0
