im finnaly moving on from the software drum sequencer... i've already used the MPD with a friend of mine, as well as MPC1000/2000XL...and i really like the Akai pads, they are really nice...but i have never touched or seen a Trigger Finger...but i know it has more features than the MPD...what i want to know is if the TF pads stack up against the MPD...anybody with some insight would really be helping me out...i dont want to waste my money. peace. thanks a lot man, i think you just made up my mind for me. that shit looks ill, definetly better quality than the MPD or Trigger Finger...i'll be shopping around for this shit for sure.

i'd go with the Trigger Finger, but it's all a matter of preference. I own a Trigger Finger myself and the pads feel so damn nice ;D.

the mpd ishalf the price M-audio TF or korg is. i think about buyin a controller but i just cant make up my mind. price is a very important role for me. i cant go nd throw my money away

dude, get a HPD-10 (Roland Handsonic 10) - is the BEST & most responsive percussion pad availiable. Now just add BFD + Battery 2. U will not find a better way to get full control of your rhythms (ie. velocity,aftertouch,rolls, flams, pitch) all in realtime. P.S. works great with Yellowtools Culture.
