I'm in the market for a new board and I wanna know which one i should grab the motif the triton extreme or the fantomx 76 keys by the way.. tell me your pick and y?

This is a hard decision. Do you know if the Fantom has a usb port? I know the other ones do. If not ,that would rule it out for me eventhough the screen on the Fantom is better than the others, plus it looks cool as hell. The screen on the motif is too small for me. I have to go with the Triton. I like the feel of the Triton's sequencer and it has a lot of sounds I like. I might be biased though, I have used the Triton more than the other two.

yea the fantom has usb and i've tested all 3 boards and honestly the fantom has the best all around quality. the sounds on the fantom are way above the competition but i look for sounds for hip/hop and r&b beats, so the fantom is the one i'm going to buy, especially since the motif and triton prices are dropping so thats telling you something you know.

yea the fantom x series look sick as hell with the color screen and all. i've heard tons of good things about the fantom too

you should definatly get the phantom the motif anf triton sounds are played...plus the phantom strings and brass are phenominal

Agreed with Triton sounds being played "no-offense" to it's fans I can pick them out almost as easy as an sp1200 back in the day! Don't know if your down with the PC stuff but Reason and a nice controller can go along way.
