no doubt things take time to get completed and the 5 dollar a beat entry is a good idea....I don't think you will have a problem with paypal but if you keep using it i think they start taking a cut of the money i'm not a 100% sure though. The thing that bothers me though is I see the samples available for download on a couple of forums and the battle's happen at other forums too, what needs to be done is only 1 download at this forum and only 1 posting at this forum so everyone is battling here and that would create more posts (jmo)

Winning money on battle is cool, although i would not enter as im broke as hell. if i could aford it, i would as long as i think i might have a chance...
Also change the boards skin, as its a real pain in the ass to navigate through here. make it simpler for the eye. Just give the webdesigning guys a chance to create a skin for us here and let the ppl vote which would be the best or maybe let them choose them on their own thru the profile. i got used to the normal proboards skin, but here i only see too much stuff like in Las Vegas. there is so much to see i cant even see the street.

Well its the 25th and after going through a few crates or records I am coming up empty handed for the sample to battle with.
It might take till the 1st to get this thing going,umless someone can step up and profide the samples.

Yeah I've seen this idea work a few times in other places. I just hate paypal. Seeing how my timing is somehow always horrible on posting my beat on time, lol, I'll have to spectate. I'm never disappointed with the bbeats I hear though.

ayo SFS...how are you on drums? i got a break or two i could throw in there. and im going to do my best to find something to hokk y'all up with...but one question...if i provide samples for the battle, does that mean i can't enter??

Ok the battle is up,but it will not be pay to enter this time.
I still have some issues to work out.
I will plan on having the pay to enter battle in November.

Paying to enter would make sense, seeing the time spent to put together a sample pack for the competition. I'd go for it.

I think it's a great idea but I live in the Netherlands and too young for using paypal.
I think their should be like 2 diffrent battles. One payed battle and one for free so that peoples who dissagree with the idea of paying for entering battles, or others that doesn't ave the ability to pay still can participate only the price would be something little.
